The Mental Health and Recovery Board of Union County is a small but mighty organization committed to promoting wellness and improving the lives of all Union County residents by leading and partnering with the community to ensure the availability of high-quality behavioral health services. Through a SAMHSA funded Project AWARE grant, we are thrilled to be partnering with our local school districts to expand their comprehensive school mental health systems and with our behavioral health providers to increase community-based behavioral health services.  Our work includes enhancing prevention, screening, early intervention, access and connection to behavioral health treatment to reduce barriers and help Union County students and families thrive. We know that our people are our greatest strength, and we are thankful for the opportunity to support them and help to build the toolboxes of the amazing professionals serving our youth and families through the Changemakers Conference.
