Visionary leader and founder of Soul Bird Consulting, Sarah Buffie, MSW, LSW is a passionate advocate and educator of trauma-informed approaches for holistic healing. With expertise in trauma-responsive care, she challenges existing paradigms to foster empathy and understanding of trauma's complexities. Drawing on two decades of experience, Sarah prioritizes felt-safety and belonging in her work. Her academic journey focused on Polyvagal Theory, Positive Psychology, and Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness, and was enriched by time spent in Americorps and the Peace Corps that inspired her deep value in interdependence and community.
